Cupronickels are considered non-magnetic. They have a very low magnetic permeability of less than 1.01.

Magnetic permeability indicates how easily an external magnetic field can create a force of attraction in the metal. On this measure, cupronickels such as Hiduron® 130 (DTD 900/4805, 2.1504) count as non-magnetic - a useful property for valves, sensors and connectors.
