1. About this policy
This policy explains how Langley Alloys uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what they do, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember your actions and preferences, and help us understand how the site is used. Some sites also use similar technologies such as local storage, which works in the same way but is not sent back to the server. Where we say "cookies" below, we mean both.
3. How we use them, and your consent
We group cookies into two kinds:
- Essential cookies keep the site working and remember the choices you make here, such as your cookie preference and your accessibility settings. These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. They do not track you.
- Analytics cookies help us see how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These stay off until you accept them. When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or reject analytics cookies, and nothing non-essential is set until you choose. This follows UK privacy law (PECR and UK GDPR), which requires your consent before analytics cookies are used.
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and accept or reject analytics cookies. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings (see section 6).

Google Analytics is provided by Google and our CRM by HubSpot, Inc.; both act as our processors. See our Privacy Policy for how the resulting data is handled and for international transfers.
5. We do not use advertising cookies
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to serve targeted ads, and we do not sell the data our cookies collect.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see the cookies stored, delete them, and block cookies from some or all sites. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working. Guidance for each browser is on its own help site, and the Information Commissioner's Office publishes general guidance at ico.org.uk.
