A batch of Langley 150 class gate valves, with bodies and trim in Ferralium® 255, was supplied for a Yugoslav phosphoric acid fertiliser plant erected by a West German contractor.
This case study dates back to when Langley Alloys manufactured its own range of valves, cast and machined in-house.
All engineering materials were supplied by UK sources under ECGD. The order comprised valves in the 10", 12" and 14" sizes shown here.
