Both castings shown are pump impellers made for extremely corrosive fertiliser-production duties. The auxiliary impeller on the lower right is cast in Ferralium® 255 alloy, for handling 30% phosphoric acid slurry at approximately 80oC. On the left is a complex pump impeller casting in LANGALLOY 20V, intended for service in 50% phosphoric acid at 80oC and weighing 24lb.
