This paper investigates the hydrogen embrittlement resistance of Hiduron® 220 (formerly Marinel 220) and Alloy K-500, with a focus on how exposure to gaseous hydrogen affects fatigue resistance.
It shows that Hiduron® 220 gives superior performance in applications where hydrogen embrittlement is a key design concern.
