Uranus 52N+ is a former trademark of Industeel, now promoted as UR2507Cu. It designates a super duplex stainless steel closely following UNS S32550, the grade better known as Ferralium® 255.
Ferralium® 255
Ferralium® 255 (UNS S32550, DIN 1.4507, F61) is the original super duplex stainless steel (SDSS), developed by Langley Alloys in the 1960s. It is still the only super duplex to provide a yield strength greater than 85ksi. Its increased copper content (2%) also gives greater resistance to acids than other alloys of its type.
