UR2507Cu is a trademark of Industeel, formerly known as UR52N+ or Uranus 52N+. It designates a super duplex stainless steel closely following UNS S32550, the grade better known as Ferralium® 255.
Ferralium® 255
Ferralium® 255 (UNS S32550, DIN 1.4507, F61) is the original super duplex stainless steel (SDSS), patented by Langley Alloys in 1968. It is still the only super duplex to provide a yield strength >85ksi, while its increased copper content (2%) gives greater resistance to acids.
