Ferralium® 255 compares favourably with a wide range of materials for potash brine production equipment, supporting its use in this application.
The paper evaluates the wear and erosion-corrosion performance of many candidate materials for the equipment used to process potash brine. Ferralium® 255 stands up well against the alternatives tested.
The work is a thesis project and runs to a large report (around 630MB). It can be accessed through the HARVEST research archive at the University of Saskatchewan.
