Bespoke piping components CNC-machined to customer drawings where standard catalogue fittings are not suitable.
When machined components are specified
Standard catalogue fittings cover the majority of piping requirements, but machined components are the right answer when:
- The geometry is bespoke - a non-standard port configuration, an integrated flange and fitting, or a transition piece not available as a standard item.
- Forging is not viable at the required quantity - small production runs that do not justify tooling cost.
- Lead time is the constraint - machining from bar or plate is faster than waiting for a bespoke forging.
- A sourced forging needs further finishing - we modify, bore, face or thread to final drawing dimensions.
Our capability
Components are machined from solid bar or plate to client drawings. We work to tight tolerances and can supply in any of the duplex, super duplex, nickel and stainless alloys we stock as bar or plate. Material traceability is maintained throughout and full material test reports are supplied.
Small production runs
We handle small production runs as part of a piping package or as a standalone order. Send us your drawing and we will advise on alloy selection, stock availability and lead time.
