Tensile testing measures proof stress, tensile strength and elongation - the core mechanical properties on a material certificate.
Test pieces are taken at the mid-radius (T/4) position as standard, with centre-line sampling on request, and tested at room temperature or, when specified, at elevated temperature. We manage the testing through approved laboratories to ASTM A370 and return the results with the certification.
