Hiduron® 220 gives superior performance to Alloy K-500 where resistance to hydrogen embrittlement is a key design issue.
The paper presents results from a test in which both alloys were subjected to gaseous hydrogen sulphide gas at 450degC during fatigue, to assess their resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
