CS64 – Hiduron 130 – Water Pump Rotor

Description:

The use of water may seem incongruous in the manufacture of cigarettes, but it is nevertheless a fact. This water pump rotor, used in one of the processes, is offset into the pump body and carries a carbon slide in the radical slot and by centrifugal action maintains a seal with the walls of the pump liner.

Hiduron 130 (DIN 2.1504, DTD900/4805, Hidurax Special) has been used very successfully over a number of years as the material rotor, because of its excellent resistance to electrolytic corrosion and wear when sliding in contact with carbon.
