UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel, also known as ASTM A182 F53 and DIN 1.4410.
This 25% chromium super duplex was originally developed by Alleima in the 1990s and marketed as SAF 2507. Its increased chromium content, compared with F51, gives improved pitting corrosion resistance. The yield strength is also higher, letting designers reduce section size for load-bearing components.
Where it sits in the duplex family
Duplex stainless steels contain a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite phases. That balance combines good corrosion resistance with high strength, making them suitable across a wide range of applications.
Super duplex grades take this further, with a higher content of alloying elements such as chromium, nickel and molybdenum, and are based on a 25% chromium content. The result is even greater corrosion resistance and higher strength, suiting more demanding environments.

We stock S32750 solid bar in sizes from 5/8" to 20" (15.87-508mm) diameter, plate up to 3" (76.2mm) thick, plus pipes in scheduled sizes, fittings and flanges.
