CS120 – Ferralium 255 – Fasteners

Having almost ideal properties as a bolting material, that is to say high tensile strength, excellent ductility and notch toughness, good anti-galling properties and outstanding corrosion resistance, the use of FERRALIUM 255 super duplex stainless steel for all kinds of fasteners and fastening assemblies is being exploited to the full and many leading manufacturers are now producing FERRALIUM 255 nuts and bolts to most standard design and size specifications.

Arnold Wragg (Bolts & Nuts) Limited of Stannington, Sheffield, who are one of the largest producers of corrosion resistant fasteners in the UK, offer a comprehensive range of standard type fasteners in FERRALIUM 255 (UNS S32550, Alloy 255, DIN 1.4507, ASTM F61) either from stock or early delivery and will produce customers’ own special designs depending on quantity and form. In addition to our normal production range of black, hot rolled bar (rounds and hexagons), Langley can now supply bright bar in diameters from ½” upwards.
