On the left of this photograph is a complex casting of a pump impeller in LANGALLOY 20V intended for service in 50% phosphoric acid at 80oC. the weight of the casting is 24lb.
At the lower right, the auxiliary impeller casting is in FERRALIUM 255 alloy and is to be used in handling phosphoric acid slurry of 30% concentration also at approximately 80oC. Both of these castings were supplied to a German manufacturer.
