TP023 – Ferralium 255, Cost Effective Answers to Corrosion-Erosion Problems in Wet Phosphoric Acid Production

This paper supports the application of Ferralium^® in process section of the ‘wet’ phosphoric acid production process. Although primarily written to support the introduction of Alloy G-30, a significant body of information is summarised that supports the superiority of Ferralium^® in comparison with Alloy 904L, 22%Cr duplex stainless steels due to excellent corrosion and erosion-corrosion resistance.
