We have just taken delivery of a new saw. As well as increasing our overall capacity and provide quicker turnarounds for cut bars, it also supports the development of our business in higher-strength nickel alloys.
The Kastotec AC4 offers infinitely variable cutting speed, hydraulically pre-tensioned sawband, hydraulic vices and rapid height adjustment when using nickel alloys. Although capable of cutting large diameter bars up to 430mm in size, its main attraction is that it will us to cut higher-strength alloys far more quickly, particularly when using carbide blades, and means that we can also quickly process orders requiring large numbers of smaller parts.
