Specialist Testing
Many industries have developed their own test methodologies, and this is particularly true of the Oil and Gas industry. Various tests have been created in an attempt to replicate the demanding environments in which our products see service. Examples include NACE TM0177 which tests for resistance to sulfide stress cracking (SCC) experienced in sour wells, or NACE TM0284 which tests for hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) in similar environments.
