The picture shows a small selection of standard HIDUREL 5 resistance welding electrodes and holders on display at the Stockholm technical fair. A similar panel, showing some of the special tips made to customers’ requirements, was also on display.
Electrode holders are produced in Hidurel 5 (UNS C64711, DIN 2.0855, DTD 498), which is also used in the manufacture of flash welding dies and other current-carrying parts where a high-strength alloy is required with the requisite thermal and electrical conductivity.
