Inspection

A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is an essential measurement tool when dealing with machined components. It is a probe that measures the coordinates, in the X/Y/Z axes, of a feature on the component. The relative distances between each point can be used to confirm that the component accurately reflects the desired specification and is within the defined tolerance limits.

Langley Alloys operates a CMM in-house, allowing us to fully inspect any machined components that we produce for our customers.
