Ground Bars

Ground bars are often required by our customers manufacturing precision pump shafts, fasteners or valve components. Grinding the surface of the bars can improve their dimensional tolerance and straightness, plus the change in surface roughness can be important if they are used with seals, bearings or other components with an interference fit.

Langley Alloys has many years’ experience in providing ground bars to our customers. We work closely with specialist sub-contractors to manage the processing, handling and packaging to ensure the desired product quality is supplied.
