Superior Corrosion Resistance with the Super Duplex 32750

The Super Duplex 32750 is a super duplex stainless steel with incredible corrosion resistance – to a level that is superior to both austenitic stainless steel and duplex stainless steel against almost all corrosive media.

Properties of Super Duplex 32750

Super Duplex 32750 combines the desirable aspects of both austenitic and ferritic grades. 

Our range of Super Duplex stainless steels, including the Super Duplex 32750, are twice as strong as austenitic or ferritic stainless steels. It includes higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents, resulting n a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of >40.

The addition of copper in the making of this alloy results in additional corrosion resistance, and it has been shown that the presence of copper can inhibit the formation of pitting corrosion. They are a cost-effective option for a number of demanding applications – due to their exclusion of high nickel additions.
