TP035 – Hydrogen Embrittlement Resistance of Hiduron 220 Exposed to Gaseous Hydrogen Environment on Fatigue Resistance

Description:

This paper presents results from a test of Hiduron 220 and Alloy K-500, subjected to gaseous hydrogen sulphide gas at 450degC during fatigue to assess their resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. Hiduron 220 provides superior performance in applications where this phenomenon is a key design issue.
