Brasses are copper-based alloys with additions of zinc. They are typically very formable and bright yellow in appearance, meaning that the most common applications are decorative, or for domestic hardware. Alloying further can improve both the mechanical and physical properties, but they are less widely used in industrial applications. Langley Alloys does not stock any brasses.
