FERMONIC® 50 Annealed



 

Nitronic 50 (XM-19 / Fermonic 50) is a nitrogen-strengthened stainless steel that provides very good resistance to corrosion.

Excellent combination of strength, ductility and toughness even at cryogenic temperatures combine to make Nitronic 50 / XM-19 a useful alloy in a wide variety of applications including pumps and fittings for chemical equipment, fasteners, cables, Boat fittings and Down Hole Tooling.

Nitronic 50 / XM-19 offers higher strength and improved corrosion, abrasion and erosion resistance to other austenitic alloys such as 316L and 317L.

Listed in NACE MR 01 75 Nitronic 50 can be used in a wide variety of applications.
