Nitronic 50® (XM19) is a nitrogen-strengthened stainless steel that provides very good resistance to corrosion. FERMONIC 50 Our own variant of Nitronic 50® (XM19) is offered in a High Strength option with a 100 or 120 ksi proof strength, this is achieved through Warm or Cold working, FERMONIC 50 High Strength differs from Nitronic 50® HS (XM19) as these properties are maintained across the size range up to 10 inch Dia., where Standard Nitronic 50 High strength properties are lost by 3 inch dia. FERMONIC and Nitronic grades remains non magnetic even when cold worked.
