Ferralium 255-SD50 Welding Wire (S32550)

Description:

Ferralium® 255 – SD50 is produced to complement our leading super duplex stainless steel. Careful formulation of the weld wire composition ensures the optimum combination of weld strength and corrosion resistance, achieved by over-alloying the wire with Nickel to maintain the correct (austenite / ferrite) phase balance.

Key Features:

  • Ferralium® 255-SD50 weld wire is available for GTAW and GMAW welding processes
  • Available in diameters 1.2mm, 1.6mm (1/16”), 2.4mm (3/32”) and 3.2mm(1/8”)
  • Over-alloyed in Nickel to ensure correct phase balance is maintained when welding with standard shielding and backing gases

  • GTAW (TIG) welding
  • GMAW (MIG) welding

Physical Properties:
