Langley Alloys now a member of the BVAA14th December 2017
Langley Alloys is pleased to become a member of the British Valve & Actuator Association (BVAA). The BVAA is the leading forum for companies engaged in the design and manufacture of valves and actuators together with their repair, as well as associated supply chain partners. Representing over 200 companies with a combined turnover in excess of £1 billion per annum, and employing more than 9,000 employees, this industry segment is an important overseas exporter. BVAA not only helps to promote the interests of its members, but also plays a vital role in the development of industry specifications.
Langley Alloys has been a long-time supplier into many of the largest manufacturers, both directly and through their sub-contractor network. Gareth Connor, External Sales Manager, remarked ‘Now that we are a member of the BVAA, it allows us to get closer to our customers. Our range of products and services has broadened significantly in recent months, and we also offer a number of unique alloys such as Ferralium® 255-SD50. Working across the supply chain and getting involved in all aspects of BVAA activities will give us greater insight into how manufacturers select alloys, and hopefully allow us to add more value to our customers.”
The range of alloys on offer to our customers now includes a more complete range of nickel alloys, such as Alloys 625,725,825 and 925, together with alloys 718 and K-500, following a £1.5M investment in stock. Our range also includes a comprehensive range of super duplex stainless steels (Alloys 32750, 32760 and Ferralium 255-SD50), along with Alloy 254, Fermonic 50 and 60. As the preferred distribution partner of Sandvik for duplex stainless steel bars, we also hold an extensive inventory of Sanmac 2005 and SAF2507. Manufacturers who source castings can also benefit from our partnership with Zollern Gmbh, to represent their precision sand castings in the UK market.
